Jeff will share his history as a personal injury attorney and shed light on the correct way to protect against liability and guard your assets for wealth building.

Ryan Bakke, a real estate tax expert, will literally teach you how to save money. None of us want to give our hard-earned money to Uncle Sam... so how do you avoid it? How do things like cost segregation, section 179, and tax codes allow you to use the laws to put money back in your pocket? Get the information you need to go to your CPA and save yourself big bucks.

Data and analytics are the lifeblood of any real estate investor. Real money is made with the purchase, and Kenny Bedwell, founder of STR Insights, will give you a peek under the hood of how the data shapes investment decisions. How do you select your next market? Bill has been involved in real estate for almost 25 years with both commercial and residential investing. In 2015 he switched the majority of his residential portfolio to short-term rentals from long term after seeing an opportunity to increase profit and reduce risk.
Bill currently has a multi-million dollar portfolio of short-term rental properties primarily located in vacation rental markets with a focus on beach, lake, and mountain properties.

Jon Hodge
Multifamily Construction and Real Estate Entrepreneur
Jon Hodge is a founding partner of Rivan Capital, LP and Rivan Management Group. Rivan Capital, LP was founded in 2022 based on the need for optimizing investor returns in the real estate market using market insights that the firm recognized as underperforming assets and properties that could produce high cash flow. Mr. Hodge has more than 10 years of experience in the real estate industry from an operational, construction, and financial perspective. He is experienced in all aspects of construction with a concentration in multifamily. His construction companies have worked on projects throughout the southeast United States totaling over 7500 units worked on, with individual projects in excess of $17 million dollars. He started his career at a local construction firm, where he managed approximately 30 salespeople and handled day-to-day operations. Wanting to further his impact on the industry, he founded Contracting Solutions, LLC, which took on full on General Contracting with a concentration on multifamily rehab and capex. He has been equipped with a unique perspective in this arena as he owns several multifamily properties and has worked for investors from all over the world. He has been a part of multifamily and single-family acquisitions, capex evaluations, value add consulting, and management of complex projects throughout his career.
In addition to multifamily construction, Jon has a strong presence in the short term rental industry with a concentration of urban and lakefront properties. These units host visitors from all over the world and support local economies by housing these visitors in prime locations and unique properties.
Chris Wharton
Marketing and Media Expert
Chris Wharton is a professional Photographer and Videographer with a background in Music Videos, Visual Effects, and High-End Graphic Design. These design skills lent him naturally to marketing for large events, businesses, and corporations.
He has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on online advertising and is an expert in Facebook Advertising, Positioning, Conversion Rate Optimization, and Social Media Design.
He lends all of that experience to the STR world by creating outside-the-box off OTA marketing for properties around the country and world.
